We made it!

Jenny, Robert, and all 3 dogs have made it to Portland! (Daisy had some help from Benadryl and a doggie sedative.) The last part of the drive along the Columbia River Gorge was one of the most beautiful parts of the entire journey. We even stopped at a museum to learn more about the area (including some Lewis & Clark history). AND, it is less than a 1-hour ride from our new house!

From Swansboro NC to Portland OR was 3100 miles! The Hyudai Tucson performed marvelously. Our sellers are renting our house through tomorrow, so we only got to do a drive-by. We hope to get access to the house by tomorrow evening.
