A visit from the Barbees (minus Adam)

Christy and Kurt Barbee came to visit us this past Thur-Sat. They were our first official non-family visitors! On Thursday afternoon and Friday Robert showed them around town (downtown, OHSU, Japanese Garden, the Northeast, 23rd St.), and after Jenny got some-post call rest Friday night, we headed to Sweet Basil for a great Thai dinner. After dinner everyone put aside his/her real age and joined the young people for Friday night festivities at Kells. The band, St. James's Gate put on an a great, high-energy show that included a wide variety of tunes.

Everyone took advantage of a less eventful, but relaxing Saturday. Christy and Kurt wanted to go for an afternoon workout at our gym, but we talked them out of it. They enjoyed Portland and caught an 8PM flight (we REALLY don't think they were ready to leave).
