Betty and Joe visit Portland

Robert and Jenny had a nice time hosting Betty and Joe, and showing them the greater Portland area ... the Columbia River Gorge (Multnomah and Bridal Veil Falls, The Vista House), Washington Park, Beaverton (minivans, soccer moms, and Cul-de-sacs), Forest Heights/Park, the NW Hills, the SW Hills, The Pearl, The NE, and The SE. We covered a lot of ground (via car, foot, and MAX) in 3.5 days. We dined at Besaws, Du’s Grill, Farm, Tuk Tuk Thai (not spicy enough for Betty), Blind Onion Pizza, and McMenamins Tavern and Pool. Betty and Joe even visited an old friend who teaches at Reed College.
