• Quick visit to Hollywood Farmers Market for fresh berries
• Stroll throgh Washington Park (Rose Garden)
• Joe attended the Oregon Brewers Fest (via Tri Met bus...proving his dedication)
• Rafting in Maupin with Betty & Joe's friend David as river guide
• Visit to David's house (north of Redmond) on the Deschutes River
• Hiking down Mt. Hood from Timberline Lodge
• Day trip to Ebola State Park and Indian Beach after lunch in Cannon Beach
• Betty's homemade Vegetable Lesagna
