In Memory of Our Bichon Frise "Jolie": May 15, 1991 to July 6, 2008

We will miss you and there will never be another "Jolie."

Quinby's Miss Jolie 5/15/91 - 7/6/08

Robert's mother, Kathy, and step father, Chuck, got Jolie while they were living in Ft. Wayne IN. Jolie's breeder was in Joliet, IL (yes, the home of the infamous penitentiary from the 1980 movie The Blue Brothers). Jolie from Joliet! Robert also had a high-school classmate named Jolie.

During her 17 years, Jolie lived in two houses in Ft. Wayne IN, before moving to North Carolina, where she lived in a motorhome and three different houses (Chocowinity, Chapel Hill, and Emerald Isle). After Kathy's untimely passing in 2005, Jolie and Tiffany moved to Chapel Hill, to live with us. Jolie's retirement years were spent here in Portland. Jolie's favorite activities were riding the golf cart in Emerald Isle, NC and laying on the deck during the summer in Portland. We are happy that Colin got to spend some time with Jolie (our household's Alpha dog).
