5th Wedding Anniversary!
We have been married 5 years today, and come January, we will have known each other for 8 years!
For our anniversary, we enjoyed a leisurely day, followed by a great jointly-cooked dinner. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine and made two fantastic pizzas.
Pizzas
Margherita: fresh Mozzarella, fresh basil, fresh garlic and fresh tomatoes
House Special: Sauce (with basil and garlic added; prepared in food processor), mozzarella, and fresh yellow bell pepper.
*All fresh ingredients from the Farmer’s Market accept the cheese. Although we didn’t make the crust, we did use fabulously fresh dough from Hot Lips Pizza (yes, they sell their dough, and it is great).
Wine
Sokol Blosser 2006 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir
Dessert
Vanilla curd tart topped with caramel (from Baker & Spice). This was unbelievably good.
