Red Lobster

So, considering Portland's spectacular culinary scene, it's a rare (if ever) occasion when Jenny and I find ourselves at a "chain" restaurant. However, when one's 92.7 year old grandmother emails .... "I also wanted to ask you,If you & Jen wanted to take me to the RED LObster So I can get a Lobster Tail. I will treat you both to dinner. I have been longing for that for a long time.Let me Know.Love you Nan" .... its off to Red Lobster we go. Since there is actually no Red Lobster within Portland, we headed about 8 miles west to Gresham. A good time was had by all ...(pictured above, Nan enjoying a Bahama Mama!)
Having never been to a Red Lobster, Jenny didn't realize it was a casual dining establishment. She got it confused with Captain D's! :)

Way to go. Some Nan's like Red Lobster, others like Old Country Buffet... I'll withold further commentary for personal reasons.

P.S. I think Gresham is East from wherever you were, unless Nan lives at Timberline...
