Kyla has seen the greeting-card images of Thanksgiving on television and in books -- she knows what she's missing. Yet the shy girl with the off-kilter ponytail doesn't begrudge those blessed with more than enough. She just asks that they reflect on what they have.

"They're lucky, and they shouldn't complain," Kyla says. "Because I used to complain a lot before I was homeless."

We are TRULY THANKFUL every day for so many things, and we are especially grateful for our family's financial well being, health, and happiness.
